Back to School

The girls had a great first day of school.  Both of them love their teachers and have good friends in their classes.  Briley was the only one who cried this morning; she didn't understand why she couldn't stay at school too; she packed her lunch & everything : (  Poor girl carried that lunch box around ALL day long.  We went to Costa Vida to celebrate the first day of school :-)

I ran in the "Run the Rockies" half marathon for a second time : )

The girls did an Aerial Arts Gymnastics camp put on by people from "Cirque-de-soliel"

They learned some pretty cool tricks & put on a great show at the end of the week

John did two 50-mile mountain bike races & he had a great time! :)

Hail Storms

We had an intense hail storm a few weeks ago.  Everyone in our neighborhood is getting their roof fixed or replaced because of it--we haven't had ours checked out yet; fingers crossed the damage isn't too bad.  The hail was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk!  It got the worst around 2 in the morning and this is what we woke up to:

"Make It Shine" Dance Recital 2012

I just put on my 4th annual dance recital! : )  I think it went really well.  All the girls danced beautifully--especially Savannah and Camden : )  It is so fun to see the girls get better every year!

Business Woman

Savannah had a school project where she had to create a product to sell.  She had to get a business license, earn "money" by turning in homework , create a commercial, create her product and sell it at school to fellow students and their parents.  She decided to make tie-dyed shoelaces and candy crayons.  She named her company "Savannah Styles".  She had a great time making her products and selling them--she did so good; her products sold out! :)
